Animal Tracks for August 15th 2012

By: Terry McDaniel
Updated: August 15, 2012
This weeks Animal Tracks features some very lovable animals who are in need of good homes.

CATS

ROYCE, (last chance),  is about 12 weeks old and has come into the shelter with his siblings. He and the others are sweet as can be and would be wonderful kittens for most any home. One look as his big white whiskers and you will fall in love. This will be his last chance to find a home.

MITZY, has one of the silliest little faces you could see. She is a black and white kitten with a cute little moustache. She is 8 weeks old and ready to bring lots of fun to your home.

PIXIE/PICCOLO, are siblings that are about 12 weeks old. They love to play and romp together, but are also fine just playing by themselves. They will be great cats in most any home.

VENUS, is a striking silver and white tabby cat who is about 1 year old. She is sweet and gentle and would be a wonderful companion.

SPICE, is very gentle and has a laid back personality. She has pretty ticked tabby fur with white toes. She would be wonderful for someone who just needs a friend and lap baby.

DOGS

WILLOW, is a hound mix dog with an easy going personality. She is happy to just be by your side to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air outside in a big yard, in the country.

COCO,  is a young Ausie dog who does well with other dogs and would be a wonderful family pet. She would love to play with the kids and protect them from harm.

MAX, is a pure bred Ausie shepherd dog. He has the necessary papers to be CKC registered and needs a home that understands the breed and is prepared to give him what he needs. He will also need to be neutered as soon as possible.

JOEY, is a happy and very outgoing collie/retriever mix dog. He loves everyone he meets and will be fast friends with his new family.

DRAKE, (last chance), is an amazing black lab. He is already neutered, knows lots of commands and would love a home with lots of room for him to run and play. His only desire is to please, and he will be a great addition to your family. This will be his last week to find a home.

If you are willing to adopt any of these wonderful animals please contact the Dothan Animal Shelter at 615-4620.
