The Dothan Airport Authority held their August meeting Tuesday and the main item on the agenda, getting new tenants on the Pemco facility.

Airport Authority Director Art Morris said they're looking for two aviation companies to move on the property.

"Rather than putting all your eggs into one basket you would have two employers as oppose to a single employer. In case something happens to one of those employers at least there is one in tack and still in business," said Morris.

Morris said getting any company to move onto the property is proving to be bit problematic because Pemco is still operating inside the building.

Morris said, "When you're negotiating with someone else when they ask when it will be possible for us to move in if we decided to come to Dothan it makes it difficult for us to give them a move in date. So the sooner we know when Pemco leaves the further along we can get with our negotiations with prospects."

Morris said it could be mid September before Pemco completes its last project
