Kasey Parker Named Northview Girls Basketball Coach

Former Smiths Station's volleyball, tennis and softball coach Kasey Parker has been named the next girls head basketball coach at Northview HIgh School.

She was hired on Monday night to the basketball position and as a physical education teacher at the high school.

Parker has previous basketball coaching experience. She has been an assistant and a head coach for 10 years at different places throughout Georgia and Alabama.

She takes over for Damien Dorsey, who led the Cougars to a 9-17 record, the best standing for the girls in the last four years.
