From Alabama Media Relations:

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The football team continued its training camp in full pads as the Crimson Tide practiced for two hours Thursday afternoon at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

"I see a lot of improvement on our team," said head coach Nick Saban. "I think with some guys, we are still trying to get some of the intangibles that we need for them to make the improvement that they need to make to be successful. Things like effort and toughness and being responsible for doing their job. If everybody does their job, we will have the best opportunity to be successful."

Alabama had three players named to the Sports Illustrated 2012 Preseason College Football All-America teams. All three were along the offensive line as seniors Barrett Jones and Chance Warmack garnered first team honors while junior D.J. Fluker was tabbed to the second team.

The Tide will now have two practices on Friday before it participates in its first scrimmage of camp, which is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
