Mrs. Hattie Jo Clower Kirkland of Ashford, died Saturday, August 4, 2012, at her
residence. She was 74.Services will be held at 7 P.M. Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Willis officiating.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
"Mama Jo" was a loving, caring mother and welcomed everyone into her home. She was a strong advocate of cancer awareness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Henry Clower and Levi Roberts Clower, and a brother, Glen Clower.
Survivors include daughter, Vicki Ball of Ashford; sons, Jason Ball and his wife, Cherie of Ashford; Jeff Ball of Ashford, niece, Renee Bayne, and sister-in-law, Shirley Clower.
