By: Megan Hunter
Updated: July 31, 2012

Any of us with allergies know how bad peanut dust, dry air, and a long planting season can be on our sinuses.

Some help in avoiding those flare-ups was offered on Monday.

A local ear nose and throat doctor spoke at the medical center about how to prevent and treat sinus trouble.

He said prevention is the key.

"Try to stay away from what you know you are allergic to as best you can. I suggest using some nasal sprays and nasal rinses," said Dr. Kent Nunnally, a local ear, nose and throat doctor.
