After receiving nearly 100 reports of stuck gas pedals, the government is investigating Ford and Mazda vehicles.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says there's been at least one death suspected from this defect and nearly two dozen accidents.

NHTSA says more than 700,000 vehicles may be impacted.

The two models involved are the 2001 through 2004 Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute with V6 engines.
