BREAKING: Federal Judge Sentences Gilley, Massey And Spicer

Federal Judge Myron Thompson has sentenced Ronnie Gilley, Jarrod Massey and Terry Spicer to jail sentences.

Country Crossing developer Ronnie Gilley was sentenced to 80 months in federal prison. Federal prosecutors had requested an 11 year sentence for Gilley while he was eligible for up to 27 years behind bars.

Former State Representative Terry Spicer was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison. Spicer was eligible for seven years behind bars.

Lobbyist Jarrod Massey received a 65 month federal prison sentence. Massey was eligible for almost 14 years in prison. Prosecutors were seeking an 11 year sentence.

All three pleaded guilty to federal corruption charges for their involvement in an attempted vote buying scheme in the Alabama legislature.
