Troy Announces Partnership with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions

TROY, Ala. - Troy University Director of Athletics Steve Dennis announced Tuesday a partnership with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions to help increase attendance and revenues generated from athletic events as well as enhance customer service and fan interaction. In addition, the Troy ticket office launched its new online ticket selling system powered by TicketReturn.com.
 
The Troy IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions operation will be managed onsite by Michael Watson, who was one of the top account execs at the University of Tennessee, where IMG College Ticket Solutions set sales records including generating more than $3 million in new ticket sales last year.
 
"We are excited about our new partnership with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions," Dennis said.  "This offers us a great chance to personalize service for our ticketholders and fans.  IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions is at the forefront of ticket sales in collegiate athletics, and we look forward to working with them to expand the Troy footprint."
 
At Troy, IMG Learfield Ticketing will focus on increasing football season and group tickets and growing the fan base for men's and women's basketball in the new $31 million Trojan Arena, set to open this season. 
 
"Troy has a great program with rich athletic tradition, particularly since becoming Division 1 in football," said Matt DiFebo, VP and Managing Director of IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions. "We're excited to work with an athletics department investing in its future with new facilities and continuing to work hard at enhancing their customer service and growing their fan base."
 
In addition to this new relationship, IMG College currently represents the multimedia rights for Troy.
 
The new online ticketing system allows fans the convenience of purchasing single-game and season tickets directly from their computer. Currently, fans can purchase season tickets for Troy's upcoming six-game home football schedule in addition to Family Packs. Single-game football tickets and basketball season tickets will be added when they become available. Fans can access the new ticket site by logging on to TroyTrojans.com and by clicking on the "Ticket Center" link.
 
"Our new ticketing system is a great tool for our fans to access tickets to our events anytime they want," Dennis said. "Along with our partnership with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions, this is another way that we are trying enhance the customer service experience for our fans."
