Bennie Glenn McNeal, 49, of Dothan, Alabama, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in Clearman Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Farley officiating. Burial will follow in Memphis Baptist Church Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. prior to the services. At other times the family will be at the home of his sister, Carla Burkett.
Born in Dothan, AL, Bennie was a son of Mr. Carlson B. McNeal and the late JoAnn McNeal Rowland. He attended Rehobeth High School prior to graduating from Dothan High School. He worked for General Cigar as a Machine Mechanic and was a member of South Lena Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his grandparents and a daughter, Felecia McNeal.
In addition to his father, Bennie is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Carla & Bobby Burkett of Dothan, Alabama; two nephews Bryan Allen Tate & Stuart Justin Tate both of Dothan, Alabama; and special friend Jeff McNeil.
