Mary Grantham Bastien, 92, of Dothan passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at her residence.
Private funeral services will be 10 am Monday, July 9, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Bastien officiating and Robert Byrd directing.
Mrs. Bastien was born in Geneva, Alabama on December 9, 1919 and she lived the early years of her life there. She resided in Dothan for more than 65 years. Mrs. Bastien was employed with civil service at Fort Rucker as administrative assistant to the Adjutant General prior to her retirement in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a daughter Susan Holster.
Survivors include her sons, Bill (Carol) Bastien of Dothan and Mike (Tonja) of Slocomb; her daughter, Anne (Charles) Eddins, Dublin, GA; her son-in-law, Fred Holster; grandchildren, Elise Bastien, Kimberly Grimes, Heather Cardwell, and Micah McGowan; great-grandchildren, Evan Grimes, Darcee Grimes, Zoie Cardwell, Rylie Claire Cardwell, Cohen Cardwell, Kayla McGowan, and Braylon Maddox; several nieces and nephews.
