As Dothan continues to grow so does traffic throughout town.

Many of you feel that something needs to be done soon to improve the city's traffic situation. The Alabama Department of Transportation has new plans to help eliminate the pileup on 231 North to John D. Odom Road. This road is 2.7 miles long.

"We can try to move the traffic the best we can but without these improvement it's just going to continue to get worse." said Traffic Engineering Services Director Chris Metzger.

The Department of Transportation is still discussing these improvements.
