Facebook Makes Unannounced Changes

By: Stephen Crews
Updated: June 27, 2012
Facebook users, there's been some changes to your account, and you probably didn't even notice. Facebook has defaulted all 950 million users' contact email to an @facebook.com address.

To switch it back to the default email you chose, just follow these steps:
  • Go to your page and click on "Update Info"
  • Click "Edit" in the contact info box
  • Click the circle that reads 'Shown on timeline' and select the other option, 'Hidden on timeline'.

Additionally, Facebook has made a change that you'll probably like.

We've all typed up a comment, hit enter and said "On second thought..." Facebook has always given you a chance to edit your comments, but it had to be immediate, within the first 10 seconds.

Now, you can change your comments anytime you want. Just click the pencil next to your comment and choose 'Edit'.

You can use that tool to fix any typos, add or delete text, whatever you want and no one will ever be the wiser.
