Dothan Police arrested two people after uncovering a large meth lab.

On June 22, 2012 the Dothan Police Department Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant at a residence located in the 3500 block of Cathy Lou Road as a part of an ongoing investigation.

During the search, officers found extensive evidence of a large methamphetamine lab including several discarded boxes and blister packs of Pseudoephedrine, plastic bottles holding a liquid chemical consistent with manufacturing, numerous precursor chemicals, several drug related items and white crystalline substance that tested positive as Methamphetamine.

Prior to the search warrant being served, officers had identified the tenants although neither suspect was home during the search warrant.

Officers began searching for the suspects and on Saturday 06-23-12 police located the two at a local motel. When located, police discovered Jennifer Hester was illegally in possession of Adderall and Kennon Hester was in possession of synthetic marijuana.

Both suspects were arrested charged with narcotics charges bringing this case to a close.

Jennifer Hester, white female, 33 years of age, of Cathy Lou Road was arrested and charged with First Degree Manufacturing, Trafficking Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with bonds totaling $65,000.

Kennon Hester, white male, 29 years of age, of Cathy Lou Road was arrested and charged with First Degree Manufacturing and Trafficking Methamphetamine with bonds totaling $60,000.
