Florida State Baseball Player Arrested

Florida State's John Holland was arrested in Omaha, Neb. on suspicion of shoplifting at a sporting goods store.

The freshman designated hitter has been suspended indefinitely from the Seminoles baseball team just hours before FSU plays UCLA in the College World Series.

Holland was batting .243 for the season, and appeared in 41 games, 16 as a starter.

Omaha police said John and Steve Holland allegedly changed the price tag on merchandise while shopping in Scheels. The two tried to buy a pair of items at a lower price.It is still unclear if or how the Hollands were related.

The men were taken into custody for shoplifting and released after posting bond.
