Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies Converge On Montgomery Home; Auburn Shooting Suspect Believed To Be Inside

Multiple law enforcement agencies have converged on a Montgomery home after two tips that the Auburn shooting suspect is inside.

Police have spent the last 48 hours looking for Desmonte Leonard. He is wanted for three counts of murder after a shooting Saturday night at an Auburn apartment complex. The shooting take place at a party and multiple reports indicate that an argument took place between Leonard and another person over a female.

Leonard is accused of shooting and killing three people including two former Auburn football players. Three other people were injured including a current Auburn football player.

Leonard was identified by Auburn police as their only suspect in the shooting during a news conference Sunday morning. Since that time they have focused their search for Leonard in the Montgomery area.

Earlier today police arrested two people in Montgomery including a person of interest that was seen leaving the party with Leonard. The two arrests were related to hindering the current police investigation that included providing false information.

Late this evening two 9-1-1 tips came into authorities that Leonard may be in a Montgomery home near Ida Young Bell Park on Barons Court.
