Columbus Mom, Baby Found Dead

Authorities in Columbus are investigating the deaths of a mother and her two-month-old baby.

It happened Thursday around 6:30 a.m. on Morris Avenue.

According to police, the father of the child got up to make coffee and when he returned to the bedroom, he found his wife and the baby unresponsive and called 9-1-1.

No foul play is suspected at this time.

The bodies are being sent to Atlanta for an autopsy.
