Ms. Betty Jane Yancek Payne, age 63, a resident of Midland City died early Monday June 4, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday June 6, 2012 in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Keith Butler officiating.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday June 7, 2012 at Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. prior to services.
Flowers will be accepted by the family.
Ms. Payne was born on November 16, 1948 in Trenton, PA. the daughter of the late William Michael and Dorothy Stallin Yancek. She lived most of her adult life in the Dothan area where she worked as a teacher in several area schools.
Survivors include: three sons, Michael Payne, Saint Joseph, MO.; Kenneth Payne, Ashford; Brian Payne, Albany, GA.; daughter, Carrie Payne Blanchard, Midland City; two sisters, Bonnie Yates, Owensboro, KY.; Linda Strauss, New Ringgold, PA. eight grandchildren, ElizabethPayne, Rachel Payne, Devin Payne, Preston Payne, Zackery Payne, Mason Heath, Ashton Payne, and Cameron Payne.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Payne, Preston Payne, Devin Payne, Brian Payne, Kenny Payne, Mike Cameron.
