The owner of a hair shop in Enterprise shot a man who was trying to rob him during a recent holdup. That's according to police who say the man shot was arrested Wednesday. The search for a second person involved continues.
The duo went into Creative Hair Masters, 2950 Rucker Boulevard, and requested a haircut. One of the men pulled a gun---demanding money and jewelry from the owner. The owner pulled his own gun and shot one of the robbers---striking him in the left thigh. The holdup occurred on May 21.
Investigators, according to Public Information Officer Steve Russell, identified the man shot as Caleb Allen Pogue, 22, of 800 Oppert Road in Dothan. He said Pogue was identified after seeking medical treatment at a hospital shortly after the holdup.. He has been charged with robbery. The search for the second man involved is ongoing, according to Russell
