TROY, Ala. - Three Troy Trojans were named to the Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament Team after Troy finished as the Pool B Co-Champions at the Sun Belt Tournament last week at Bowling Green Ballpark.

Pitchers Tyler Ray and Nate Hill along with third baseman Danny Collins represented the Trojans on the All-Tournament Team.

Troy finished pool play with victories over No. 2 Arkansas State and No. 3 FIU, but lost out in a tiebreaker to the Red Wolves after the Trojans fell to No. 7 Middle Tennessee. Arkansas State won the three-way tie that also included Middle Tennessee due to being the highest seed.

Ray tossed a complete-game, six-hitter against FIU in Troy's opening game of the tournament. After working out of a bases-loaded jam in the first inning, the senior right-hander allowed just seven base runners over the remainder of the game. Ray struck out six and allowed just one run for his fifth victory of the season.

Hill dominated Arkansas State and Middle Tennessee in 7.2 innings out of the bullpen on back-to-back days. The junior southpaw picked up the win as he struck out eight Red Wolf batters while walking two and allowing just two hits in 5.2 innings. Hill followed that with two scoreless and hitless innings with a strikeout against the Blue Raiders.

Collins hit .667 (8-for-12) with three runs scored, three RBIs and a home run in Troy's three games. The sophomore opened the scoring for the Trojans in the tournament with a solo home run in the second inning against FIU. Collins was 3-for-4 against the Panthers with a pair of RBIs, 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored against the Red Wolves and 3-for-4 with an RBI against the Blue Raiders.
