Mr. Kenneth Gordon Miller, Sr. of Acworth, GA passed
away Friday, May 18, 2012 at his home.He was 72.
Funeral services will be
held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, in the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in
Slocomb officiating.Burial with
military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Sorrells
Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive
friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service
time.
Mr. Miller was born on March 23, 1940 in Hartford, AL
to Edna Wright Miller and the late Marcus C. Miller. He proudly served his country during the
Vietnam War and retired after 30 years of service from the U.S. Air Force.He was also a lifelong Crimson Tide
fan.
Survivors include wife,
Young Son "Sonny" Miller of Acworth, GA; children:Tina Singleton (Kevin) of Jacksonville, AR,
Kenneth G. Miller, Jr. (Delayna) of Cabot AR, Clay Miller and Cindy Miller both
of Jacksonville AR; his mother:Edna Wright Miller of Hartford; one
brother:Jeffrey B. Miller (Sharon) of
Hartford; four grandchildren:Grayson
and Landon Miller, Nichole and Stephanie Singleton; several nieces and
nephews.
