Maudeline Treadaway Thomas Byrd

Maudeline Treadaway Thomas Byrd has gone to her heavenly home.What an amazing angel heaven now has.She passed away at her home Tuesday, May 22, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 25, 2012, at Christ Community Church with Rev. Johnny Bryant and Rev. Benjamin Valentine officiating.Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4 until 6:30 PM.

Maudeline was one of six children born to Moses and Anna Treadaway on August 8, 1930.She worked at Alatex Shirt factory for over 30 years.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dewey James Thomas; her second husband, Foy Carroll Byrd; two brothers Roy Treadaway and Melvin Treadaway and a sister Mozell Treadaway.She was a longtime member of Christ Community Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and DeeDee Thomas, Enterprise, AL; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Christa Thomas Shehee and Willie Ray Shehee, New Brockton, AL; Beverly Thomas Burns and Ricky Burns, Dothan, AL; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Alfred Treadaway, Ozark, AL, Billy Treadaway and wife, Dorothy, Andalusia, AL; several very much loved nieces and nephews and more friends than one could count.She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
