Quitman County Sheriff Steve Newton revealed
that two young girls, an 8-year-old and a 3-year-old, were allegedly
abducted by a man in a car around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Georgetown.
Sheriff Newton says the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in to survey the crime scene. He added the two girls are okay and that the suspect let them go a block away after they began screaming.
Investigators are looking for a black man
with dreads, who is about 6'2" and weighs between 250 to 300 pounds.
The suspect is said to have a gold tooth.
Authorities are asking parents to be cautious at this time.
