Updated: May 14, 2012

Police in DeFuniak Springs are investigating what they believe to be a murder-suicide.  They were called to the scene at 321 Quebec Road just after 3:30 Saturday afternoon and found two bodies.

Lt. Tilman Mears said it appeared that Cleveland Gettis, 33, shot Saleisha Richardson, 28, and then turned the gun on himself.

So far, police don't have a motive for the shooting but Lt. Mears said witnesses reported hearing the couple arguing prior to the shooting.

Autopsies will be performed on the victims and Lt. Mears said police will continue to interview witnesses and process evidence in the case.
