Lewis Ripley "Rip" McLendon

Lewis Ripley "Rip" McLendon of Enterprise, AL, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at his home.He was 58.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Level Plains with Rev. Mike Foreman and Chaplain Roger Stone officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 7 PM. Mr. McLendon was preceded in death by his father, Lewis McLendon.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon McLendon, Enterprise, AL; three children, Lewis Ripley McLendon, Jr., Level Plains, AL, Audrey Arlene Nunez, Tennessee, Ashley Noelle Ankrom and husband, Joseph, Clarksville, TN; 7 grandchildren; mother, Frances Pauline Powell, Ozark, AL; 5 sisters; 4 brothers.
