Dothan senior infielder Haley Futch signed her letter of intent yesterday and chose to take her talents to Chipola College.

In her only season at Dothan, Futch hit .315 with one home run and 29 r.b.i. as she helped the Tigers win the Class 6A Area 5 regular season title. She was also undefeated on the mound as a pitcher. Futch transferred to Dothan after sitting out last season at Emmanuel Christian.

Her older brother played for the Indians baseball team. Futch also played for the Chipola coaching staff the last four years on an AAU team in Marianna.
