A Youngstown woman was shot multiple times during a domestic dispute, according to the Bay County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the scene at 8935 Merlin Drive just after 5pm Sunday afternoon.  BCSO Major Tommy Ford said the victim, Lisa Marie McCollum, was alert and talking with deputies prior to being transported to a local hospital.  She is listed in stable condition, but the extent of her injuries is not known.

Major Ford said the victim's husband, Kevin McCollum, was at the scene when deputies arrived and is likely to be charged in the case. He is currently in custody. The specific charges are unknown at this time.

Meanwhile, neighbors say they've seen the couple in arguments before. Some say they witnessed Mr. McCollum backing his truck into his fencing on Sunday, which tore the gate from it's hinges.  Others say they've seen McCollum fire guns unsafely on occasion and have asked him, previously, to stop.

Next door neighbor, Tony Webb, says he's never seen much of a problem before today.

"They've had a few arguments in the past couple weeks, but nothing this dramatic. We've been neighbors for 8 years...8 or 9 years now. And a real good guy. Had no issues with him. Never had any problems out of him," said Webb.
