By: Stephen Crews
Updated: April 24, 2012
Today is runoff election day in Alabama.

On the Republican side, there is only one statewide race to be determined. It is to select a nominee for Public Service Commission President. Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh faces Chip Brown.

The winner will take on Incumbent Democrat Lucy Baxley in November. Today's voter turnout is expected to be low. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

WDHN will have local results tonight at 10 p.m. and here at dothanfirst.com!
