Dothan High's Kasey Cooper Honored by ESPN

Dothan High junior Kasey Cooper has been producing at a high level once again and her efforts are being recognized by ESPN.

The tigers standout star was named the ESPN Southeast Softball Player of the Week. Cooper, who has already committed to Auburn, helped her team win two games last week, including the area-clinching victory on the road against Enterprise.

Cooper's batting average is above .600 this season and has hit 17 home runs. Last season, she set the Alabama state record for hits in a season with 106.
