Funeral services will be held at
10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev.
Coley M. Holloway and Rev. Bobby Ned Peters officiating. Burial
will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral
Home of Slocomb directing. Mrs. Brown will be placed in the church one
hour prior to service time. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church Building Fund, 873 N. Shiloh Road, Hartford, AL 36344.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Brown was born on April 6, 1941 in Geneva County, Alabama to the late Earnest (E.C.) and Mary Catherine Farmer Bolin. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Brown of Slocomb; two sons: Lee Brown (Charmon) of Fadette, Jeff Brown (Karla) of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren: Megan, Paige, Daniel and Hannah; one brother: Robert Bolin of Slocomb; two sisters: Ellen Wilson of Temple, GA, Jonnie Thomley of Wicksburg; several nieces and nephews.
