Arkansas Fires Head Football Coach

Arkansas has fired Bobby Petrino after he "knowingly misled" the Razorbacks football program in the wrong direction.

Petrino was caught having an inappropriate relationship with 25-year old Jessica Dorrell, a former Arkansas volleyball player.

The 51-year old Petrino suffered neck and rib injuries in a April 1 motorcycle accident. He was put on paid leave last week after admitting he lied about the presence of Dorrell on the back of his bike.

Athletic Director Jeff Long says Petrino gave Dorrell $20,000 at some point in time, however, he would not mention why.

Petrino was fired "with cause," so he will not receive any substantial buyout.
