Gators' Ronald Powell tears ACL

The University of Florida annouced earlier today, that Ronald Powell suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during Saturday's spring game. He will have surgery as soon as the swelling subsides.

According to head coach Will Muschamp, Powell has enjoyed a great deal of success this offseason and has been the defensive player of the day in each of Florida's scrimmages.

Last season, Powell racked up six sacks for the Gators.
