Alabama's first trip back to the NCAA tournament lasted all of one game.

The ninth-seeded Crimson Tide couldn't hold onto to a 7-point half time lead as Creighton came back to win 58-57 Friday in Greensboro, N.C.

Trevor Releford missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer. There looked to be contact on several replays, however, no foul was called.

The Bluejays were led by All-American forward, Doug McDermott who finished with a game-high 16 points.

Creighton will face top-seeded North Carolina on Sunday.

The Crimson Tide ends the year with a record of 21-12.
