Blount coach Kelvin Sigler joining Alabama

By: Josh Rultenberg
Updated: March 13, 2012
Blount football coach Kelvin Sigler will join Nick Saban's staff at Alabama and has resigned as the Leopard's football caoch today.

Sigler confirmed the news with Blount.

It's unclear what his role will be in Tuscaloosa.

Sigler refused to comment on the move because Saban does not allow his assistant coaches to speak with the media.

In his four seasons at Blount, the Leopards went 27-18 and made four straight playoff appearances in Class 6A.
