University of Georgia head football coach, Mark Richt should've been happy today when he found out he was officially off the hot seat. His contract was extended with the Bulldogs three more years. However, when he woke up this morning he received some unwelcoming news.
Defensive back Branden Smith was arrested Sunday night in Abbeville on a misdemeanor marijuana posession charge.
Mark Richt found himself talking about the latest Georgia player to be arrested instead of the optimism about next season and his new five-year contract.
Richt said he was frustrated about the arrest.
