With Trent Richardson moving on to the NFL, Eddie Lacy was supposed to become the Alabama Crimson Tide's next starting running back. However, those plans will have to wait.

Head Coach Nick Saban annouced today Lacy and Arie Kouandijo will miss the entirety of spring practice as each player is still recovering from off-season surgery.

Kouandijo is expected to compete for the starting left tackle spot this season.

In other news surrounding the Tide, Duron Carter, the son of former Minnesota Viking and Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, Chris Carter, will remain suspended from the team.
