CSS to Televise Alabama A-Day Game on April 14

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama's annual A-Day Game will be televised live by CSS on Saturday, April 14. Chris Stewart and Tyler Watts will call the action from the booth with Tom Roberts serving as the sideline reporter.

A-Day is the 15th and final practice of the spring with kickoff from Bryant-Denny Stadium scheduled for 2 p.m. (CDT). Admission will once again be free to the public. More information on A-Day, including additional activities and traffic, will be available as the date gets closer on rolltide.com.

Over the last five years, Alabama has totaled 438,010 fans at A-Day for an average of 87,602 during that period. UA set a college football record in the spring of 2007 as a capacity crowd of 92,138 watched head coach Nick Saban's first A-Day at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Last year's school-record attendance of 92,310 led the nation by a large margin, with Nebraska checking in at number two with a total of 66,784.

Alabama is tentatively scheduled to start spring practice on Friday, March 9, and will then take the next week off for spring break. The second practice is scheduled for Monday, March 19.

CSS is a 24-hour sports channel carrying a full slate of college sports programming. The channel offers a comprehensive sports lineup throughout the year including over 40 live college football games including the SEC, Sun Belt, Conference USA, and Gulf South Conference. In addition, CSS broadcasts over 165 men's and women's live college basketball games and over 80 live baseball games, as well as a comprehensive mix of sports news and in-depth sports analysis geared toward fans in the south.
