Charges against Dre Kirkpatrick dismissed

Former Alabama cornerback, Dre Kirkpatrick has been cleared of all charges against him in relation to the Jan. 17 arrest for possession of marijuana.

Kirkpatrick was detained by police in Palmetto, Florida along with another former Alabama player, Chris Rogers.

Kirkpatrick had admitted to being in a vehicle with Rogers and said he saw there was a purchase made but said he did not know at the time that drugs were being purchased.

Kirkpatrick is currently projected to be a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft by draft expert Mel Kiper.
