Chemistry Building At Auburn Evacuated

The chemistry building at Auburn University has been evacuated.  Facility workers detected a strange odor and called 911.

The university sent out an alert around 10:30 Thursday morning. Emergency responders are on the scene and have set up a perimeter around the building.

They have not yet determined the source of the odor or its danger level.
