The Houston Academy Baseball Team picked a bad time to face one of it's biggest rivals. With several key players missing due to spring break trips, the Raiders proved no match for Slocomb on Tuesday.

The Red Tops rolled past the Raiders, sweeping a double header 10-3 and 10-1. Auburn signee Clay Holmes got the win for the Red Tops in the opener.

Dothan rode the arm and bat of Kasey Cooper past Rutherford on Tuesday night. Cooper earned the win on the mound and drove home the winning run in the Tigers 3-2 victory.

The Tigers took a 2-0 lead into the 5th inning, before the Rams scratched out an unearned run to cut Dothan's lead in half. Dothan extended that lead to 3-1 in the 5th inning on Cooper's double to the center field wall.
