Tennessee Holds Off South Carolina In Columbia

Tobias Harris scored 25 points and Scotty Hopson added 24 for the Vols. Sam Muldrow had 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead South Carolina.
The Vols led by 20 points in the first half, before the Gamecocks began chipping away at the lead. South Carolina pulled within three points at 69-66 with 1:06 to play, but Melvin Goins hit a pull-up jumper on the Vols ensuing possession, and the Gamecocks would get no closer.
