Ticket Amnesty Program Begins In The City Of Tuscaloosa

The City of Tuscaloosa has announced parking Ticket Amnesty through April 29, 2011. During Parking Ticket Amnesty, all overdue parking tickets may be paid in the amount posted on the ticket without summons or warrants being served and all costs associated with the summons or warrants will be waived.

The City of Tuscaloosa has recently enhanced its access to ownership information for vehicles. This improved access means that the City of Tuscaloosa can instantly access tag ownership information and identify the owners of automobiles in any state.

Anyone with an overdue parking ticket who does not take advantage of this one time Parking Ticket Amnesty, will be subject to having a summons or warrant of arrest served on them. For additional information regarding payment of parking tickets, contact parking control at 248-5830.
