Eric Smith is no longer a member of the Auburn Football Team. Head Coach Gene Chizik dismissed Smith from the program for a violation of team rules.

Smith played in all 14 games last season, serving mainly as a blocking running back. He had just one carry for zero yards last season, catching five passes for 49 yards.

He was previously suspended twice, most recently for the season opener in 2009. He ran for 128 yards during his first two years with the Tigers.
