The Houston County Football Team is looking for a new head coach. The Dothan Eagle reports, Jarrod Wooten has resigned as a coach and teacher in Columbia.

Wooten coached the Lions for three seasons, posting a 13-18 record. The Lions were just 1-9 last season.

Wooten's best year came in 2009, when he led the team to an 8-3 record and a trip to the Class 2A playoffs. That Lions team featured UAB signee Desmond Warren at quarterback.
