It's a partnership that's said to benefit soldiers and their families- as well as local construction workers.

Picerne Military Housing is the general contractor to build new homes on Fort Rucker for military personnel. Picerne has a 50-year contract which began in 2006, and since then the company has spent over $80 million with local subcontractors, says pre-construction manager Stan Morehead.

Morehead (pictured) said the company targeted local workers in Ozark, Enterprise and Dothan to help build the massive housing development on post. He says carpenters, mason, painters and plumbers are among the skills it will take to finish the project. And if there's no current opening for your particular talent when you apply, the company will keep your application on file for at least a year.

You can get complete details on job openings on the web at Picerne Military Housing.com.
