School Superintendent Dr. Aaron Milner says he expects Governor Bentley to declare four-percent cuts in the state's education budget. Milner says the funding shortfall could affect some support personnel jobs- and some teaching positions might also be eliminated.
Milner (pictured) says, "We're a transient community so we have certain teachers that move from year to year. We're trying to see if we can absorb those positions in order to save jobs."
Governor Bentley says he'll make his proration declaration at the end of this month.
