Former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton is cashing in on his Heisman Trophy winning season with the Tigers. CNBC reports, Newton has signed the most lucrative pre-draft endorsement contract ever given to an incoming NFL player.

Newton has signed with Under Armour, and the contract reportedly surpasses the one million dollars-a-year Reggie Bush received from Adidas prior to his rookie season in 2006. Under Armour plans to push a new line of Newton-themed Auburn sneakers, jerseys and training gear.

Newton exploded on the college football scene, leading Auburn to the BCS Championship during his only season with the team. He accounted for 51 touchdowns and more than 4,300 total yards during his junior season, winning nearly every major post-season award, including the Heisman Trophy, plus the Manning, Walter Camp, Maxwell and Davey O'Brien Awards.
