A Jefferson County deputy pulled a woman to safety after her home caught fire.

It happened Saturday morning at seven on Gemini Circle in Pinson. The sheriff's office says the deputy found 66 year old Sarah Gregg lying motionless on her back in the living room and went inside to save her. ABC 33/40 spoke with her family - they say, her husband took his wife from the burning back room of their home. The deputy pulled her out, the rest of the way. They tell us, she's recovering well and was released from St. Vincents hospital Saturday night.
