Lockhart Man Waives Extradiction To Covington County

A Lockhart man was extradited from Panama City, Florida on Monday to face child sex charges in Covington County.

John Samuel Cope, 34, faces two counts of sodomy second degree and one count traveling to meet a child for unlawful sex act with possible further charges pending according to Covington County Sheriff Dennis Meeks.

Bond was set at $550,000.
