The State Attorney’s Office intends to seek the death penalty against two persons charged with murder.
According to Assistant State Attorney Larry Basford, the State Attorney’s Office will seek the death penalty against John Wayne Lincoln and Mark Allen Bomia.
Bomia, a former Parker police officer was indicted for the first-degree murder of 35-year-old Anna Beach last September.
Authorities say that Bomia shot Beach in the head, then strangled her with an extension cord. Police believe that Bomia was trying to re-kindle an old relationship with Beach but she turned him down.
Lincoln is charged in the death of 62-year-old Vivian Ford in Jackson County. Authorities believe that it was an attempted robbery that turned into murder.
